What is a Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a treatment that allows us to manipulate the brow hairs into a new desired position, either brushed up and fluffy or more as a corrective treatment for sparse brows. It's designed to give the illusion of fuller, more defined brows. It straightens the hairs so they lie flat, making it easy for you to brush them in the right direction daily. For Best Results: Pair a brow lamination with a lash lamination and tint to enhance both brows and lashes giving a no makeup, makeup look like the photo shown below.

Can You Do a Brow Lamination Without a Tint?
Yes, you can laminate the brow hair only.
Can You Do a Brow Lamination on someone Who Has Had Microblading or permanent makeup done?
Yes, this is a great addition to a client's brows that have had previous PMU as long as the brows are healed, and natural brow hairs are present.
How Long Will This Service Take?
60-90 minutes if doing a brow lamination, wax, and tint.
How Long Will My Lamination
& Tint Last?
The tint will last 2-4 weeks and the lamination will last around 6 weeks depending on your hair health and skin type. Oily skin types the lamination may not last as long.
What Product Should I Use to Style My Brows Post Treatment?
A styling gel can be used to fluff them up and hold them in place all day. I will go over how to style your brows properly when your service is complete. Brow lamination offers a low-maintenance way to have many different brow styles of your choosing that will last all day.
What Is the Process of a Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a three to four step chemical process that slowly relaxes the brow hair and makes them flexible and easy to style. The first step is the relaxer – it slowly opens the hair follicle and expands it, allowing it to be relaxed. The second step is a setting treatment that “sets” the hair in the direction that the hair has been relaxed into during the first step. The second step also bulks up and softens the hair so that it becomes thicker with each strand. Fine hairs love this treatment. The third step is tinting if you wish to include this in your treatment. The fourth step is shaping and applying a nourishing cream that will infuse into your opened hair follicle and lock in nourishment for the brow hair. This step will need to be left on for 24 hours after your treatment, and the brows must remain dry during that time.
does it hurt?
NO. If anything, it is a very relaxing treatment.
Can You Wear Brow Makeup?
Absolutely – However, it is recommended to avoid brow makeup for a couple days after the brow lamination service has been completed. If you have tinted the brows, there is not much more required as they will not be washed or rinsed for the first 24 hours, and the brows will look fabulous.
Brow Lamination Timeline
IMMEDIATELY AFTER
Brows will be flat to the skin and appear darker due to oils and will have that slick look.
3-5 DAYS LATER
Brows will fluff up a little from the skin. You will need to style and nourish your brows daily.
4 WEEKS LATER
You can book a maintenance appointment to refresh your brows. This includes a tint, tidy, and conditioning treatment.
8 WEEKS LATER
You will be due for your full lamination again.
If you haven't taken care of your brows, they may not be suitable for lamination again. You will still need to style and brush your brows every day to keep them in your desired shape. A clear brow gel helps to do this. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze product from Ulta. A maintenance treatment after 4 weeks is 100% recommended if you are someone where the tint doesn't last very long on, or your brow hair grows back quickly within a few weeks. A maintenance appointment refreshes them and makes them ready to be laminated again in another few weeks.

Do You Sell Brow Retail Products?
Yes, we sell Lash & Brow serums to help maintain the health of the natural brow hairs and to help them grow. I highly recommend using a serum if you plan on continually getting brow laminations.
Precare Information
- Avoid exfoliating around your eyebrows 72 hours before the treatment.
-Stop the use of retinol, retinoids, AHA's, BHA's, vitamin A and C derivatives one week before appointment.
-Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds
-Avoid self tanner around the eyebrows
-It is recommended to plan showering, workouts, and activities accordingly as you cannot get the brows wet for 24 hours after the treatment
Aftercare Information
Your brows need to stay dry for 24 hours post-treatment, followed by daily use of the nourishing brow oil provided for you. If you run out, you can use jojoba oil or argan oil to keep the brow hairs moisturized. Avoid using drying products like retinol or AHA/BHA cleansers directly on your brows after your treatment; they tend to dry out the hair and give you less time with your tint. It is also advise that cool water be used on the brows. No sauna, steam, hot tub, or pool for 72 hours post treatment. No sweating/excessive working outs for 48-72 hours.
Restrictions and Contraindictions
(reasons why brow lamination may not be the best fit for you)
-
Very dry skin. If you use a retinol cream daily or use AHA/BHA cleansers, your skin may be too dry for this service, and you should discontinue use at least 7 days prior to your treatment, depending on how intensive your skincare routine is, in order to avoid redness and dry skin in the treated brow area.
-
You can not receive this service if you have recently had any aggressive recent facial procedures (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and laser treatments).
-
If you’re experiencing active acne breakouts or wounds in the brow area, this service should not be done on open wounds or active breakouts.
-
If you’re experiencing certain types of hormonal changes or thyroid conditions that cause hair loss, you should wait to receive this service until things balance out in your system.
