Ombré Powder Brows

This brow technique is a semi-permanent makeup procedure designed to create a soft powder like finish, similar to the look of filled in brows with makeup.  Using a specialized  shading technique, it enhances the brows with a natural yet more defined appearance. Fully customizable, this method is perfect for anyone looking to achieve fuller, effortlessly shaded brows.

The listed price includes both the initial session AND the complimentary touch-up session done 6-8 weeks later to completely finish and perfect the brows. (Brows require two sessions for full completion.)

How Is Ombré Different from Microblading?

Microblading is creating and placing 3D hair-like strokes using a hand tool, while ombré brows are done using a tattoo device to create a shading technique. Ombré brows are less invasive and require less maintenance over the years. I do not offer Microblading at Permanent Beauty Co.

What is the Process?

At the start of your appointment, a topical anesthetic will be applied while we review your completed forms and go over any questions you may have. This Q&A ensures you feel fully informed and confident before we begin. I encourage you to research the procedure beforehand so you feel prepared and comfortable moving forward.

Next, we'll take our time mapping out the perfect brow shape and selecting a custom pigment that compliments your features. Once you're completely satisfied with the design, we'll begin the powdering technique. The tattooing process itself takes approximately 1-2 hours for both brows, with the full appointment lasting around three hours.

Is the Process Painful?

A topical anesthetic will be applied before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. The pain level is minimal to none for most clients.

How Long does it Last?

Throughout the years after the procedure, your skin will naturally exfoliate, and your body will naturally metabolize the pigment. All methods generally will need 1-2 years, depending on skin type, conditions, and how natural or intense you want the eyebrows to look. ”Color boost touch-ups” are recommended to help refresh the color every so often to keep the brows fresh and long-lasting. The ombré shading method will generally last longer because it covers more surface area in the treated region. It is important to use SPF daily because heavy sun exposure will expedite the fading process. Please note that although we say touch-ups are needed over the years and that it’s “semi-permanent,” it does not mean your brows will completely fade away; it is still a tattoo.

Who Should Have This Enhancement and What Are the Benefits?

Powder brows are ideal for anyone looking to enhance their eyebrows with a soft, natural, and long-lasting makeup-like finish. This technique is perfect for those with sparse, uneven, or over-plucked brows, as well as individuals with oily skin who may struggle with traditional microblading. Powder brows create a beautifully defined yet soft look without harsh lines, making them suitable for all skin types. The benefits include long-lasting results, a low-maintenance routine, and a customizable shape and color that complement your natural features. This enhancement is perfect for anyone wanting fuller, effortlessly polished brows without the daily effort of filling them in.

What is the Healing Time?

We highly recommend booking an appointment at least two weeks prior to a special event. The average healing time is about 10-14 days, but it may take longer for some. No downtime is needed. You can certainly go to work the day after. Color boosts and touch-ups are recommended for optimal results and are booked as needed.

Specific aftercare ointment and instructions will be sent home with you.
