Dermaplane Facial
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive skin resurfacing procedure that uses a medical scalpel to gently exfoliate your skin to get rid of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) that can trap dirt, oils, and other impurities and cause acne or breakouts for some. LED light therapy is included at the end of the session for optimal results. Following the treatment, makeup application is smoother, and other skincare products are able to penetrate deeper, in turn making them more effective.
Am I a Good Candidate?
The ideal candidate for derma-planing has aging, dry, rough, or uneven skin tone. Derma-planing can also help reduce the appearance of shallow acne scars, fine lines, and superficial hyperpigmentation with consistency.

Is the Treatment Safe?
This treatment is extremely safe when performed by a properly trained skincare professional. There is no more risk to the skin than when you shave your legs. There is also very little downtime associated with this procedure.
Does it Hurt?
No, derma-planing is not painful. It feels like a gentle scraping on the skin and is generally very comfortable. Most people find it relaxing, and there is no downtime just smooth, glowing skin afterward.
Will It Make the Hair on My Face Grow Back Thicker and Darker?
No, derma-planing will not make your hair grow back thicker or darker. This is a common myth. Derma-planing only removes the soft, fine vellus hair on the surface of the skin, and it does not affect the hair follicle. Since it doesn’t alter the hair’s growth process, your hair will grow back just as fine and soft as before.
How Long Is the Treatment? How Often Can I Have It Done?
Dermaplaning takes anywhere between 30-45 minutes and can be performed every 3-4 weeks. The treatment itself removes approximately 21 days’ worth of dead skin, so it is important to let your skin rejuvenate before your next appointment. You can dermaplane about once a month, but it depends on each person’s skin and what they need.
Dermaplane + BB Glow = Super-Glow
A Super-Glow is a combination of a dermaplane and a BB Glow facial. This helps provide the best BB Glow results by exfoliating the skin first and removing dead skin cells before microneedling a semi-permanent tinted serum into the epidermis of the skin. Recommended as your first BB Glow treatment to start the series. LED light therapy included.
